Gerhard's Fort

Gerhard's Fort is one of the few living museums in Europe where tourists can temporarily move in time and walk in shoes of military service. Visiting the Fort takes the form of accelerated military training. Tourists visit the fortress under the protection of a "despicable" and, of course, uniformed Prussian soldier. During the march around and inside the fortress, visitors will learn about its history, undergoing several tests at the same time, to check if the candidate is suitable for military service!
