Birde Reserve
The Karsiborska Kępa Reserve is located on the island of the same name, which is part of the Świna Delta - a place for birds of European rank. This reserve is the first reserve belonging to the Society. Karsiborska Kępa Reserve is one of the first social reserves, and probably the first, in which active methods (active activities and works - as opposed to strict reserves closed to all human activities) were adopted as a way of protection.
