"Dutch'' Windmill in Benz
About 20 kilometers from Świnoujście in the town of Benz, there is a windmill located on a hill. From above, there is a picturesque view of the surrounding area, and you can see the varied terrain, surrounding water bodies and towns.
Inside the windmill is an interesting milling museum (paid admission). The object itself and the city of Benz were immortalized in the paintings of famous American painter of German descent Lyonel Feiniger. The artist came 100 years ago to the island of Usedom, where he spent part of his life painting and drawing landscapes, immortalizing the beauty of the architecture of these lands. A windmill was his favorite subject of paintings.
